1926 Census Release

We’re nearly there! The census will be released in the early hours of Saturday 18th April.

It will be available from the revamped census site at the National Archives.

The National Archives have launched a programme of events called The Story of Us. This includes an exhibition tour and the Centenarian Ambassadors Programme.

There is an article on the RTE website by Zoe Reid from the National Archives talking about the efforts made to bring the census to us in digitized form.
