Mel is a semi-professional genealogist and all-round technologist with a passion for family history. She particularly enjoys researching her own Irish, English and Scottish ancestry and helping others develop the skills and confidence to explore their own family histories.

Louise is an enthusiastic amateur family historian who inherited her love of history from her grandmother, the family’s matriarch, who inspired her passion and passed the baton to the next generation. While Louise enjoys exploring family history, she is the first to admit that her strengths lie more in organisation than in genealogy itself.

Kieran is a retired scientist whose interests include local history and family history. He has been a member of the Irish Family History Society for 35 years and is the current editor of the Society’s journal. He has been involved in local and family history publications in Cork and Galway and lives in Cork with his family.
