Join Us/Renew Your Membership

The annual subscription fee is €25. Membership of the Society runs from 1 January to 31 December. Please note that if you pay before 1st November of a given year, the fee will be assigned to the current year and not the upcoming one.

Members have access to the Members’ Area which gives free access to historic issues of the Society’s Irish Family History Journal 1985 to 2011, Society’s News Sheets, Handouts from Lectures, Useful Information and Links and Membership Queries. Please note: upon completing your membership application, you will receive a registration link. You must click on this and set up a username and password. You will not have access until you complete the registration. If you did not get the link, please check your spam!

Members get a 25% discount to the Irish Newspaper Archives. The normal annual subscription is €149.00 per year or €29.00 for a month.

It is very simple to join,  fill in the form below and click submit. you will then be redirected to a page with instructions for payment. The easiest way is to pay by card. After payment by card, you will receive an email with a link from us. You will need to click this link to set up your username and password to get access to the Members’ Area of our website.
