August Record Collection Updates

Roots Ireland

New Armagh Records Added!

We are delighted to announce the addition of over 22,000 new Armagh records to our Roots Ireland database! They are as follows:

Graveyards:

  • St Gobhans CI (1875-1986) – Seagoe Parish;
  • Ballylane Reformed Presbyterian (1855-1984) – Kilclooney Parish;
  • Clare Reformed Presbyterian (1872-2012) – Ballymore Parish;
  • Kernan Interdenominational (1989-1995) – Seagoe Parish.
  • Church Records;
  • Shankill (Lurgan) CI (bapts 1681-1864; Marriages 1676-1921; burials 1754-1756);
  • Ballymoyer (Ballymyre) CI (bapts 1820-1836; Marriages 1820-1836; burials 1820-1836);
  • Derrynoose CI (burials 1835-1870);
  • Armagh CI (bapts 1860-1864; marriages 1840-1845).

There are 19,123 baptisms, 1642 marriage records, 525 burial records and 1112 headstone records, making a total of 22,402 new records for County Armagh.

Ulster Historical Foundation

For almost seven decades, the Ulster Historical Foundation has been helping people uncover the stories of their ancestors, families and communities. Now, we are delighted to introduce a new database that offers a fascinating insight into that work: the Ulster Historical Foundation Search Reports Database.
