The Federation of Local History Societies is inviting all our members to their  Zoom Lecture.

It promises to be something special and offers an opportunity to learn about an event which although front-page news at the time may not now be remembered or as well known.

The speaker, Padraig Laffan, who originates from the North Strand will tell the gripping story of the destruction of a community in his home place, where and when he was present, if only as an infant.
