We’re pleased to announce a visit to the Representative Church Body Library (RCBL) in Churchtown, Dublin. The RCBL is the repository for the Church of Ireland (Anglican church) within the Republic of Ireland and holds the majority of the surviving Church of Ireland parish records. The Librarian and archivist of the Library, Susan Hood, will outline the plans for the RCBL and show some original registers as well as demonstrating the map-based system for looking at the photographed images.
Attendance is limited to 20 places so please register as soon as possible!
This event is free to members but you are required to register by email request to info@ifhs.ie.
Non-members must register via our shop and pay €5 to attend.
