Speaker: Mel Howes

Mel is Chairperson of the IFHS and works with technology in her day job. She first became interested in genealogy 20 years ago and has been compiling an ever-growing family tree with roots spread across England, Ireland and Scotland. More recently she has been instrumental in launching an AI Genealogy Assistant for IFHS members to use. 

This talk will range widely to include types of AI, what they are really good at undertaking and where they spectacularly fail.
