GRO Research Room Closed

The General Register Office (GRO) has announced on its website that its walk-in-service is suspended and its Research Room closed until further notice. Here is the link to its notice https://www.gov.ie/en/organisation-information/55ccbe-general-register-office-gro-research-facility/

Please note that while an email service is available Monday to Friday, it requires that you have sufficient information to identify a specific entry from the index.  Its staff cannot conduct research for you.

The reason given was health and safety reasons in the building.
