If you are on Facebook it’s worth following this page to hear the latest regarding the indexing of the Registry of Deeds volumes. The Registry of Deeds Index Project is a volunteer project to provide a full names index to the memorial transcription volumes of the Registry of Deeds Ireland.

Update of 22 April 2025 – 626,781 index records from 64,426 memorials of deeds.

Thanks again to our marvelous volunteers we now have 626,781 index records from 64,426 memorials of deeds in the main database. These and the other database are fully searchable at: https://irishdeedsindex.net/search/search.php

Nearly 90 per cent of records in the main database have a direct link to the the memorial book images on familysearch.org

This is an interesting marriage settlement as it involves a sort of insurance pension fund, Concordia Annuity Company. It was to provide an annuity of £60 per annum to his widow. Nevertheless there a provision to use other parts of his estate to make up any shortfall of the £60.
