FREE HISTORICAL RECORDS UPDATE ON FAMILYSEARCH

FamilySearch expanded its free online archives in the month of October 2023 with 26 million new indexed family history records from 50 separate countries and one worldwide collection of over 1 million records from the world’s cemeteries in Find-A-Grave Index.

Over one million records each were added from Costa Rica, the Czech Republic, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Luxembourg, Sri Lanka, and the UK. United Kingdom Funeral Notices 1914-2023 includes death notices, funeral notices, obituaries, and memoriums from England, Scotland, Northern Ireland. and Wales. Other collections added thousands of records during October from Argentina, Colombia, Ireland, Nicaragua, Peru, the United States, Venezuela, and countries all over the world.
